Top Stick Tour Lake Pyramid Tournament
Updated: January 6, 2012 by Big Ed

The second tournament of the season will be at Lake Pyramid. Lake Pyramid is a great fishery with Largemouth and Smallmouth swimming in the lakes waters. Lake Pyramid has hosted many tournaments over the years and has proved to be a great fishery year in and year out.

The lake staff has been kind enough to open the gates early for this tournament. The gates will open only for the tournament anglers at 6 a.m. and will be closed after the last tournament vehicle has entered. We shall have the trailer on site for sign ups starting at 4:30 a.m.. Please line up your vehicles on the exit side of the gate and do not block the entrance for the lake staff. They enter the park on the exit side in the morning to open up the kiosk. We will be having a meeting at the sign up trailer at aprox. 5:30 am. At this time we will go over the off limits as well as the rules for the tournament. This is a mandatory meeting so do not be late. At the meeting we will also be drawing the first boat out so do not forget your boat # in the morning.

As you enter the gate we will perform a live-well inspection, so please have your live-wells open before you enter the gate. Once you pay the gate fee please go and launch your boat. We will be doing take off on the water at the end of the 5 mph buoys. Weigh in times will be as follows: first flight 3 pm, second flight 3:15 pm. We will have a check in person at the dock. He will be watching the buoy line to make sure you are not late. Weigh in will be at the trailer. We hope to have a drive by weigh in up in lot C. Lot C is the upper parking lot. You will Trailer your boat and then drive up to lot C where we will be set up for weigh in. After you weigh your fish you will then go back down to the ramp and release your fish.

Good Luck to all and we hope to see you on the water at Lake Pyramid. You never know who you will see on the water at Lake Pyramid. Keep your eyes out for a surprise on the water.
