To all Top Stick Anglers:
It is with heavy heart that I make this announcement. With the most recent events and health issues with Marla and myself I sadly will not carry on with the Top Stick events for next year. At this point I don.t feel I can give my best to the circuit. It.s time to spend some quality time with Marla, our kids and grandkids and squeeze in some fishing and hunting when I can.
We tried to make TST as fair and level a playing field as we possibly could but still keep it competitive. That was a very difficult balance and it has finally taken its toll. I will continue to do the .Day on the Water. for the Vets; we owe them so much more than just a day of fishing.
To our sponsors
We sincerely appreciate your support and overwhelming generosity. I will continue to support you and the products simply because I believe they are the best on the market. They are truly quality products and I will continue endorsing them. If you need me to work a booth just call
To all that have staffed for TST
You are part of the reason this circuit was so successful. Jim, Dave, Kevin, Ron, Chip and Christina
Thank you Ray Leyerly for all you have done.
Thank you Daren Lacher for your diligence on the website
Thank you Kirk Rossi for all your help with the IE, I know you were excited to come back next year, sorry.
With that said I am happy to announce that Randy Pringle.s Best Bass Tournaments will take over the Top Stick So Cal region and run the schedule as posted but adding an additional event. It will run under the BBT rules found at www.bestbasstournaments.com. I.ve known Randy for many years and I.m glad Randy has decided to run these events in TST.s place. I trust Randy and his group to do a great job for the anglers of Southern California and I am positive they will enjoy these events as much as they did with TST.
In closing I want to say thank you to those of you that have been concerned about Marla.s health, it.s truly appreciated. Last but not least, thank you to all that have befriended us, you are very important to us. Hopefully we will see each other on the water. Please stay in touch.
Farewell, tight lines and stay safe.
John and Marla Barron
